I have never kept track of my food intake or known the nutritional value of food. But after gaining some weight and not being able to take it off, and signing up to do six Spartan races this year and not feeling like my body and mind were responding to my workouts, I felt something had to change and I needed help. I turned to Kate and her expertise to help me understand how macro counting worked and how to manage my eating so that I could feel better, have more energy, and perhaps lose some weight. I have to say it was very hard mentally and physically at first, but I was motivated and Kate was able to help me achieve my goals and gave me lots of ideas and material to help with knowing how to design my eating plan.
